I too worked with Joyce for many years in the Financial Services office at Trent University and before that as a student when Joyce happily received my tuition fees. She was dedicated to Trent and it’s students and always a pleasure to work with. I’m very sorry for your loss.

I had the honour and pleasure of working with Joyce in the Financial Aid community.
Since Trent offered courses at Durham College, Joyce was one of the first people I met when I began my career as a Financial Aid Officer at Durham College in 1993. She was a wonderful lady and a great mentor. We shared many stories along with many laughs over the years as colleagues.
I will always remember Joyce's warm and welcoming smile and the dedication she demonstrated in her career and to her students.

Paul, Rochelle and Rob,
I had the pleasure of working with Joyce at Trent and can say with certainty that it truly was a pleasure. She had a way of making a bad day good.
Joyce always put students first and foremost. It's safe to say, there are many Trent alumni out there who were able to succeed, thanks to Joyce's support.
I'll remember her as a lovely lady.

There are no words that can say how very sorry I am Joyce was the most wonderful lady. So full of grace and beauty. My Cousin Joyce was the first born grandchild to our Grandmother Thresa Bulmer & Grandpa Elmer Northey - as children we would visit regularly at her parents farm (Velma Northey & Ernie Ivey) as well at our farm (Pauline Pengelley & Melvin Northey) - we also had large Northey Family get-togethers at our grandparents house in Lakefield - lots of fun & happy memories - Joyce did such a good job processing our Bulmer/Northey family history in 2015 - it was a pleasure to celebrate with Joyce & Paul on their 50th wedding anniversary in 2017- she will be missed - Paul, Robin, Rochelle & Family, we are so sorry for your loss - Sincerely, Janet Northey (& husband Reg Williams)

Paul and family,
