I was saddened to hear of Winston's passing on returning from our vacation. I have known Winston for some 60 years and curled with him, he was a very special man. My sympathy goes out to his family. I will miss being able to wave to him as he drives by in his old truck. Rest in Peace! Jim Outram

John, Allan, Morris and Jan and family - so sorry to learn of your dear Dad and grandpa's passing...He was a young 96 and was always a pleasure to chat with. Many great memories of our time at the Curling Club with him and more recently at Community Care functions.. Dave was saying he had a nice chat with Winston when he was home in January and he was thinking about getting a new truck but thought used was better option for him. Another Bobcaygeon icon that loved his community and will be missed. May all your happy memories help you in the days ahead. Sorry we cannot attend Winston's celebration of life but will be thinking of you all. Take care.

We are sorry to hear the sad news that Winston has passed away. For us he was always very warm and welcoming and he and Elva were interested in helping Lesley out with the Anderson family tree. He always looked and acted much younger than his 96 years! It was always nice to see him as he was the closest remaining relative to Brian's father George and we shared in his happiness that he had reconnected with Mildred. We will miss him very much. Love from Brian and Les Anderson in Ottawa.

We first met Winston June 2017 when we returned to Bobcaygeon for a Stevenson reunion after being away for 30 years. Winston was so kind and gracious, taking my Aunt Mil, brother Bob, husband Murray and myself to our grandparents farm which is now owned by Winston's son John and wife Brenda. They made us feel at home and treated us like family. We are thankful for having the opportunity to spend time with Winston and he will forever be in our memories and heart. To all the Anderson Clan, Sorry to learn of Winston's passing. He will be missed at the Community Care Dinners - He and Mildred usually the first ones through the door.
