Obituary of Jean Pauline Smith

Jean passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday March 31, 2018 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Smith of Lakefield. Will be forever remembered by her children Barbara Mahoney (John), Cindy and Steven. Beloved grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren Sara (Jeremy), Katie (Kyle), and Sean. Great grandmother to Charlotte. Loved by her siblings Dorothy, Sam, Bernard, and Linda. Jean was Predeceased by her parents Michael and Clara Cain, and siblings Agnes, Gladys, Arlone and Bob. She will be remembered by many other extended friends and family. The Family of Jean would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who have cared for Mom over the past four years and a heart felt thank you to Helen and Ellen from Homeinstead Senior Care. A Funeral Service will take place Thursday April 5, 2018 at 11:00 Am at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL with visitation to commence an hour prior. Burial at Lakefield Cemetery following the service.
