Kelly, Peg, Cheryl and Gordon,
We are still working at accepting Jan’s death so soon after Bruce died so I can imagine how you are all struggling. Your Mom and Dad were always a close team so this may well be what they had hoped would happen. I hope your shared grief will help you support each other through the tough times.
I was always in awe at what a quiet woman Jan was, even when mothering her teen daughters, I never heard a raised voice. Jan was one of the rare women, that I was aware of, who loved ironing (yes ironing). It wasn’t just because she wanted her family to be nicely turned out but also because she found it relaxing.
Our family has many good memories of living next door to the Pollocks.
