Passed away at his residence in Lindsay, on Sunday May 13, 2018. George Johnston of Apsley in his 72nd year. Beloved and cherished husband of 49 years to Elaine (nee Young). Loving father of Tammy Henley, George (Amy), and Tayna Johnston (Ken MacLeod). Remembered by his grandchildren George Jr., McKenna, Jared, Katana and Skye. Survived by his siblings Eleanor, Bruce, Dan, Linda, Nelson, and Raymond. Predeceased by his brother Herbie and parents Marion and Howard. A visitation will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday May 17, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-9:00 PM, with refreshments provided. Interment St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Apsley on Friday May 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
