Obituary of Clarence Edward Ludgate

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 93. Clarence was the beloved husband for 65 years of Marjorie (nee Holley), cherished father of John (Sheila), Joan (Greg Mosier), Gerard (Jean), Anne (Randy Florence), George and Peter (Elizabeth), loving Poppa of 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Alexina & Michael Ludgate, siblings Arvella Power, Viva Quigg, Bernice Teeple, Stella Teeple, Ken, Arnold & Douglas Ludgate. Family and friends will be received at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen St. Lakefield, on Monday April 8, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday April 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Lakefield. Reception to follow in the church hall.
