My belated but sincere condolences to Harry’s entire family.
I was privileged to have been hired by Harry in 1971 and to have worked under his tutelage at CIMCO for so many years.
He was a terrific leader, he built an incredible team of professionals, and was certainly one of the most savvy negotiators ever born. We all learned a lot from Harry and were fortunate to have known him. As many have already said, he was a good man.

Few men, during a lifetime, meet a man who is a boss, then a colleague, a father figure, and most importantly, a friend.
I was one of those few men.
I met Harry.

We have such fond memories of Harry as Jack & I, our daughter Julie & her husband, who visit us almost every day, would stop at Harry's table as they were leaving Canterbury Gardens and have long chats with him and Rick MacLellan. We also chatted till dining room staff summoned us to our table. I visited Harry at the hospital the Tuesday before he died and was pleased to bring a smile to his face and a twinkle to his eye in spite of his discomfort at that time. We were so happy to see him at his table at Canterbury and so sadly shocked to learn he died. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time.

Harry was a long-standing member of the RC Legion, Branch 77, Lakefield. Although personally, I did not know Harry very well, some have said that you couldn't meet a nicer man. I was pleased to present him with a Quilt of Valour at our Veteran's dinner last September. We Will Remember

To the Hepburn Family....I was so blessed to know your Dad. I started out at the Memorial Centre as a 20 year old working under Doug Nobes. Your Dad and Doug had a special bond, and they let me into their conversations. I knew little about refrigeration, but through Harry, he would teach me and advise me on the various aspects.
Whenever there was a repair or improvement, we only called Harry, despite other companies wanting our business.
He was the best, and more importantly, a real gentleman.
It's funny, I was thinking of him just last week, I didn't know how he was doing.
Thought and condolences, and God's Blessings to you all.

We were so sad to hear of Harry's passing. He has been a member of our Lakefield Legion family and brightened up our Veterans' Dinners for many years. He was always cheerful and sunny and a treat to know. We are sorry to have to miss the Celebration of Life due to international travel. Sincere condolences to Chris and all the family.

To all of Harry’s wonderful family... we are so saddened to hear of Harry’ s passing.
We have such warm memories of the brief times we spent with Harry, most often when he was visiting Dave & Annie in Ft Lauderdale & they would bring Harry down to the Florida Keys where we were wintering. We are very proud of the fact that we introduced Harry to his very first Pina Colada, which he enjoyed with great gusto, announcing to Dave that his follow up one was not even close in taste to the Langley version. Such wonderful memories of a truly remarkable man who had so much to give to life... and he did !
He will be missed. ❤️

Oh my gosh ... loved that guy! My mother lives at Canterbury Gardens so I have known Harry for many years. Always fun, upbeat, and an enjoyable person to chat with. A funny memory - stopped to chat with Harry and a few ladies at Canterbury on a hot day, last summer.(I was wearing short shorts) When walking away, I overheard him say, in his usual loud voice, "She's a skinny rake, isn't she"? I laughed the entire elevator ride! Too funny!
I have attended the Remembrance Day services over the years at Canterbury Gardens, at which Harry was often invited to speak. His talks of his time in the war, always brought me to tears.
I will miss seeing Harry at Canterbury Gardens. My sincere condolences to the family of this wonderful, kind hearted man.

I cannot tell you how saddened we were to hear of Harry’s passing . He meant so much to us . We have fond memories over the years of how kind he and Norma were to us and our children, especially the times up at the lake.
In later years after Norma’s passing our visits in Florida and Christmas day drop in here at home. What wonderful memories we are left with . I will really miss Harry’s hugs !
He had a full happy life and a wonderful supportive family of which he was so proud.
Our warmest condolences to you all
Yvonne & Frank
