It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Roy William Saunders at Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday June 19, 2019. He is survived by his nephew Bryan Hills (Jackie), his niece Brenda Hills (Bill) and dear friend Marlena Murray. Roy was predeceased by his sister Doris Hills and niece Linda DesRoches. Much loved great-uncle of Patricia (Brad), Stephen (Jayme), Matthew (Nicole), Amanda (Sean) and William (Taylor). Great-great-uncle to Seren, Emery, Zoey, Beth and Archer. A permanent resident of Bobcaygeon for over 30 years, he will be missed by his many friends. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon on Monday June 24, 2019 at 1:00PM with visitation to commence one hour prior. Interment will take place at Verulam Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Animal Rescue Krew (A.R.K.) or Ross Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
