REDPATH: Royden Kenneth “Roy”

Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday September 12, 2019.  Roy was the owner/operator of Redpath Construction for over 50 years. Loved and missed by his wife Marlene (Martin) (nee Hicks).  Also missed by his children Gary Redpath (Joyce) of Lakefield, Gail Redpath (Nataq Levi) of Arctic Bay, Nunavut, Bonnie Redpath of Lakefield, Kevin Redpath (Vicki) of Lakefield and Mark Redpath (Sherry) of Lakefield.  Dear grandpa of Tracey (Brian), Terry (Haley), Jessica (Ben), Rebecca (Brian), Cynthia (Harley), Melissa, Michael (Karlie) and Morgan. Dear great grandpa of Amber, Adam, Sammy, Gracie, Olivia, Colton and Loralai.  Survived by his brother Murray Redpath (Lynda) of Lakefield.  Also survived by Marlene’s children, Karen Gravelle (Chris), Brian Martin, Jim Martin (Boom), Sherry Redpath (Mark), several grandchildren and great grandchildren and brothers-in-law Bob Hicks (Doris) and Sheldon McIlmoyle.  Predeceased by his parents Orville & Merle, brother Rae and sisters Shirley and Marilyn.  A funeral service will be held at SELWYN OUTREACH CENTRE, 2686 Lakefield Rd., on Monday September 16, 2019 at 12:30 PM.  Visitation two hours prior to the service.  A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.  Private family interment to follow.  Memorial donations may be made to Friends Peterborough as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL at www.hendrenfuneralhome.comor by calling 705-652-3355.  The family wishes to thank Gail for her loving and generous care of Roy over the past months.
