I travelled with Billy all over Canada, for CTV's "Live It Up!" program. My husband had him as an instructor at SAIT. We are so sorry to hear of his passing, and send condolences to his wife and family. What a character! He will live forever in our memories!

Sadly I read about Billy's passing to day. I haven't seen him in forty years but we spent a lot of time together during the late sixties and early seventies. We were in the same class at RTA at Ryerson Polytechnic and after graduation I became an editor and often saw him at sound mixes and labs. He was older than most of the other students and we all looked up to him as a sort of mentor.
