My most heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of the family at this very sad time.
Iris and I met in Grade 10 and have been good friends over these many years. Even though we didn't get together much we kept in touch over the phone. I will also greatly miss Iris.
I hope you will find comfort in knowing that she is at peace now and that she is back in Paul's arms.

…..going to miss you girl! Forty-eight years of friendship, many calls just to say hi, many secrets shared.....so many "manys". I just lost my partner 2 months ago and now I have lost my best friend. I don't even know what to say or think.....just know that my heart goes out to all of you at this time of sadness and sorrow. Iris was one of the VERY FEW whom I was comfortable saying "I love you" to so here is one more "I love you Iris'. May you rest in peace.

Iris was a compassionate, thoughtful friend when we were in school. I only reconnected with her this year and wish to express my condolences to her family. Her honesty and integrity must have endeared her to many people as I experienced when seeing her again about 20 years ago in Norwood. Memories are forever and Iris holds a spot in mine.
