Obituary of Rick Norris

NORRIS: Brian Richard “Rick”

Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Tuesday October 15, 2019 at the age of 56 years.  Rick will be remembered as an avid soccer fan, having played for Sir Sandford Fleming College, Kawartha Senior Soccer League and coaching for Trent University and Youth Soccer in Peterborough.  He is sadly missed by his wife Kerry (nee Dewdney) and his daughters Chelsea of Halifax and Sarah (Vanessa) of Ottawa.  Lovingly remembered by his parents Bob & Shirley Norris of Lakefield, brother Robb Norris (Debbie) of Aurora, parents-in-law Murray & Joan Dewdney of Lakefield and his brother and sisters-in-law.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Monday October 21, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday October 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.  A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C.
