Obituary of Gene Hurst

HURST: Eugene Paul

Passed away at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Thursday November 21, 2019.  Eugene Hurst of Marmora in his 69th year.  Eugene was a supervisor with Ventra Plastics in Peterborough.  Loved and missed by his wife of 48 years, Sandra and his daughter Shannon Heayn (Darrell) of Norwood.  Loving grandpa of Marissa and Cameron.  Survived by his siblings Ronald, Dianne Foote (Skip), Carolyn Park (Dennis) and sister-in-law Muriel.  Predeceased by his parents Norman and Mabel, brothers Don (Blanche), Bruce, Bob (Lee) and sister-in-law Cecelia.  A Celebration of Eugene’s Life will be held at the Norwood Community Centre, Millennium Room, on Saturday December 7, 2019 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM.  Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-639-5322.
