I have lots of memories of Jodean, growing up on Fourth Street. The Potter family and our's got together often, and some of my best memories are camping at Beaver Park, and our trip to New Brunswick to visit them when they moved there. I always remember Jodean as being a little "firecracker" as a young girl. She never backed down from anything. She was full of energy and always had a beautiful smile. When we got reconnected on Facebook, she and I would chat regularly. When I couldn't find navy shoes for my son's wedding, she offered to send me her shoes from her daughter's wedding. She also posted old photos of the Fourth Street kids, and of our family together in New Brunswick, which were great to see. Even near the end, Jodean never lost her will to fight. She always told me "I've got this!" Rest in Peace, beautiful Jo. You will be missed dearly. Condolences to Jim, Shelby, Brittany and Dylan, as well as George and Merion and Jethroy and his family. I have so many. Watching her grow as a wee child to a beautiful womsn. Speaking at her wedding . Seeing that little face at the supper table , long after supper was over , trying to eat her liver. She did tell me it paid off, as she did as an adult love liver. I kept the secret Jodean, never told a soul about the liver in my pocket. You were so cute. To Jodeans husband and children you were truly blessed to have .her as a wife and mother. To Merion and George, Jeth and family my heart is with you all. God Bless. She is at peace and free of pain and for that we must be thankful. She gave it her all. She told me many times. I've got this. She will be missed.
