Sorry to hear of Cliff’s passing away. I came on the Opp with Cliff in July 1972 at Downsview Detachment. My late wife, Patricia (Pat) and I became good friends with Cliff and Janet, helped them move to Newmarket in 1974, then their move to Hastings on the Trent. We visited often and had so much fun together. We Motorcycled with Cliff and Janet every year in the 1980’s to the New England States for two weeks every June. We lost contact with each other in the 1990’s but have nothing but great memories of our time together. I remember young Jeff growing up and Deiter, their beloved Doberman dog who was our constant sidekick every time Pat and I visited them. We white water rafted together in 1980 on the Ottawa River. I still have great memories of the old days on the job and off. My sympathy goes out to the whole family and friends.
