Jordene and I are sorry that we cannot make it to Bobcaygeon this afternoon to express our condolences in person. I have lots of fond memories of Geoff from the Toronto Metro North office. His office was just three down from mine and his door was always open. I would routinely drop in to discuss our weekly choice in his PGA golf pool or we would debate on which was a better product for a Client, a Segregated Fund or a Mutual Fund. Even though Geoff was one of the first Five Star Master Builders at Manulife, he had no ego. He truly enjoyed the comradery at the Toronto Metro North Branch. Whether is was a pot luck lunch, a secret Santa, or getting the TMN Advisors together for at least one dinner at a Manulife Conference, Geoff was always front and centre. He felt it was very important for all the staff and the advisors to forget about business for a while and socialize personally, even if it was only for a couple of hours. I do miss those days. TMN had an excellent work environment thanks to people like Geoff

Hello Maureen Geoff Cross , 5 Star Master Builder , a guy who you couldn't help but like. He had a great laugh and I always appreciated his " to the point , blunt , matter of fact " way of life especially when questioning some Home Office procedures.
Bente and I have attended many Manulife Financial conferences with you , the last one being Amelia Island , Manulife's 5 Star Master Builder last hurrah!!!
Geoff arranged a boat cruise for anyone to join in . We and about 8 other couples did so . The Lee's , Graham's ,Eby's , Stockman's to name but a few and we had a lot of laughs.
