Dear Ronnie, we were with the night you got the call Linda had passed, we were so devastated Linda passed away so quickly after the heart surgery, such an beat warm beautiful lady, who will be missed by so many of us and especially her best friend you Ron and family. We have so many wonderful memories of Linda’s warm smile always there to help anyone out, we had a blast with Mike’s 50th Birthday at your beautiful home. Queen Lily Mike’s Mum enjoyed just a half with you both and cruising on your pontoon boat. Lots of fun at the Christmas parties and remembering the very first Christmas party for Lily that grow over the years to be enjoyed by so many many friends and family that filled your home. We all will miss the fun and laughter but above all we will miss seeing Linda always smiling no matter what health issues always with a beautiful smile. For Linda
The last time we saw each other you were preparing for heart surgery and as upbeat and courageous as always but then you have been a fighter and a survivor all of your life. I am still struggling with you being gone and wish we still had time together for that friends reunion with Bob and Mavis that we talked about. I am so grateful that we were able to reconnect last year and spend time together. So many memories of you, knowing each other since our 20's, remembering your kindness, your hospitality and above all your strength. For such a little person you were mighty and you are missed.

Ron we learned today from Linda, your sister of Linda's passing. We want to extend our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to you. Linda brightened Chalmer's Avenue when she came to visit and we remember her warm smile and generous spirit well. Linda always asked about our lives and our children; she was genuinely interested in others and made you feel important. I will miss seeing her come and go, bringing in various plants and shrubs to brighten your sister's garden. She was a kind soul who was taken too quickly. Our thoughts are with you. We will all miss Linda. With love, Gayle Peters and David Kubica

Oh My Gosh! My heart is aching! I loved Linda. I knew her from being a cashier at Foodland. We would talk and talk and talk. I loved it when her and Denise came together and it was almost a little party. I used to run into the two of them all the time. She told me what was going on and I couldn't believe her strength and outlook. She was always there for her sister and brother during their difficulties. I am so so sorry. Denise and I shared a love of red! we both had red boots the first time I met her and it got us talking. Then red gloves. I haven't seen either in quite a while and now I know why. I'm sending all my love and heartfelt sympathy to the family. Truly a tragic loss.
Will remember you forever Linda

My deepest condolences Ron & family, I was talking to Linda a few months ago at the eye specialist, and she was telling me some of the things she had been going through, but was still upbeat and a smile on her face, I had no idea until I just read about it yesterday. I was in shock. Thoughts & prayers are with you all throughout this difficult time.

Dear Ron, I am very sorry for your loss, Linda was such an upbeat happy smiling person who did not let her health issues rule her life. She was genuinely happy to see people and share a story and a laugh. The two of you always seemed inseparable, I know you will miss her terribly. This is such an awful time to go through this, without the physical comfort of good friends and family. Please stay well. Arlene Moyer

Linda, you will be sadly missed by many.
We have known and loved our dear friend Linda for more than 20 years.
Right from the time we met on Lake Edge Road, our family including our sons, mother, sister and brother were taken under Linda’s wings and Ronnie’s too.
Sharing her time, her home, giving helpful hints and information about small town living. Always laughing through life, always upbeat and always bringing folks together.
She loved decorating for every special occasion. Always had a good eye for elegance. Each house they built seemed even better than the last. Linda worked hard all her life; fostered troubled youth and made a difference in many lives.
She was the best hostess, opening her home to neighbours, friends and family especially during the Christmas season. Generous to a fault, always giving and helping others.
This is how we choose to remember Linda....a brave, happy, generous lady.
