To the family:
We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
I have very fond memories of Marguerite. Whenever I visited her, she was an exceptional and gracious host. In particular, I remember when she made a special breakfast casserole and we ate in the dining room.
She was an amazing lady! I will never forget her ❤️.

I am so saddened to hear of Mrs. Adams-Miller passing. Her children, George, Carolyn, and Marjorie, were close childhood friends of myself (Linda), Jim, and Suzanne. Mr. Adams was a very close friend of my father, Ray Simpson, the first Game Warden in Bobcaygeon, when we were young, and I remember so many evenings listening to them deep in conversation, or watching boxing matches, or hockey games on our very small television. I also remember afternoons playing at their home, under the watchful eye of Mrs. Adams.
Mrs. Adams was a close friend of my mother, and I remember the two of them collecting woolen sweaters and such, that could be sent away to be somehow magically remade into warm blankets for us. Mine was pink, Suzanne's was blue, and Jim's was green.
Bobcaygeon was a very, very, small town back in those days, and as children, we went to the still quite small school together, played together, and were watched over by all the parents of the town. When George was sick in hospital (I believe he had pneumonia), we children all gathered together to send him little gifts, to help him get well soon. What wonderful memories I have of that time and place ... and of Mrs. Adams-Miller.
I last saw her with my mother, following the death of my sister Suzanne. She was warm, generous, and kind, as I remembered her from my childhood. I will always remember her this way.

Grandma I will never forget how you made me cinnamon toast and tea when I was with you after school. There are so many memories that flood my heart right now. One of them was the expression on your face when I made our family Xmas pudding and you stood by me making the sauce, you were beaming at me and I was so pleased! I love you so much!
