Obituary of Beryl Spaul
Beryl Spaul
April 28, 1940 – May 5, 2020
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Beryl passed away in her home with her loving family on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Beryl was able to celebrate her 80th Birthday at home after asking to be released from PRHC Palliative, as being in her country home sunroom in Lakehurst with her family was her greatest wish.
Born in Wales in 1940, Beryl immigrated to Canada in 1952 with her parents Henry & Megan (Ace) and her sisters Elizabeth (deceased), Maureen and Dorothy.
Beryl will be greatly missed by her husband Thomas Spaul – married for 55 years (57 if you ask Tom).
Lovingly cherished by her children Marion (Matthew), Rob (Pat), Sheridan (Rob), and Barbara (John). Beryl loved her grandchildren dearly – Zanna, Asha, Megan, Beth, Jaclyn, Kassie, Brendan, Kayleigh and her great-grandchildren – Chelsea, Nick, Davanee, Robbie & Mason, and her great-great-granddaughter Lavinia.
Beryl was very engaged and volunteered in her communities in Lakehurst, Buckhorn and in her winter home at Ponderosa Park, Hudson, Florida.
Beryl was blessed with many wonderful friends throughout her life who cherished her wit, her humour and her zest for life. She cherished all of you dearly!
Due to the pandemic crisis a Celebration of Beryl’s Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations in her name can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart & Stroke Foundation or to support our oceans (Beryl truly loved the oceans) to The Ocean Clean Up www.theoceancleanup.com
