Obituary of Justin Leslie McNeil
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Justin Leslie McNeil, age 37, on Sunday May 3, 2020. Justin is the beloved son of mother Carolyn McNeil and father Ron McNeil, brother of Dylan (Michelle) and twin sisters Kierstin and Kayla, stepson to Kathy McNeil, a grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.
Those who knew Justin, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Justin loved his family and his friends, he loved staying in touch and sharing stories and laughs. Justin enjoyed his love of music and was always the life of the party. Justin brought so much love and joy into the lives of those who knew him. He lived his life between his two homes of Toronto & Nova Scotia, and touched many lives with his outgoing personality, his laughter and genuine charm. Wherever Justin went he was sure to make new friends and they would become life-long friends to him.
Justin had recently become an Uncle to his newly born nephew Ryan, "Little Man", as Justin called him. He was looking forward to the fun that would unfold in the coming years.
Justin will be sadly missed every day by his mother, father, brother, sisters, grandmother, step-mother, aunts, uncles and friends, along with
his special family Les, Shirley, Milton, Cindy, Miranda, Aleisha & Brandon, who loved him dearly.
Justin is predeceased by his stepfather Darren Cavanaugh, grandfather Robert, grandparents Jane & Tom, and two aunts.
"To shine your brightest light is to be who you really are." (Roy T. Bennett). In our darkest hour, our brightest light has gone out, never to shine again.
With overwhelming sadness and beyond broken hearts, we are left to grieve the loss of our son.
You will always be remembered and missed... until we see each other again
Arrangements have been entrusted to The Hendren Funeral Homes, Monk Chapel, Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Due to Covid 19 regulations, a celebration of life will take place when we are able to gather in his honour to ensure that Justin's family and many friends are able to say their goodbyes to a man that positively impacted the lives of so many.
