To Michele and Delaney. I want to express my condolences to you both. I worked with Brian in Port Hope for many years. He had an amazing sense of humor and could tell hilarious stories. It is with great sadness that I learned of Brian's passing. Although I did not know Brian well, I would often see Michele and Brian attending Delaney's SPS basketball games. Delaney was always a delight to coach and her mom and dad were always there supporting her. I am very sorry for your family's loss. Brian was the first of our group of friends to be able to (legally) drive. He was essentially a demigod with vehicular powers. He was a steadfast friend who was there for so many of my teenage firsts; after having been apart for so long, I didn't realize how much I would suddenly miss him. I was saddened to see that Brian had passed so suddenly. Brian was my brother-in-law's (Bill Jackson) nurse in Port Hope for a number of years and our family always liked what a great care giver he was. I knew the family from St. Anne's and came to realize that religion was a big part of their DNA. Sadly, Brian passed too soon, but I suspect he was one of God's favourites and so he will have his rightful place in the after life. Well done Brian on your trip through life.
