Jerry and I met Sylvia (always "Brandy" to us) and Jay 55 years ago in Calgary, Alberta. We became instant friends and remained so throughout the years. . .raising our families and staying in touch as we moved back to the USA and they returned to Ontario. . .we were always so many miles apart, but always close in our hearts. Getting together became annual vacations and we shared so many amazing adventures and made so many memories together. . .oh, the wonderful memories. . .those sustain us. Jerry passed away three and a half years ago. . .and Jay and Brandy left the most beautiful memorial message for him. I will always remember that. I was able to travel to Calgary two years ago to share memories and just be together with these two beautiful long life friends and their grown kids and grands. . .my wonderful Canadian Family. . . that is one of my most treasured memories. My beautiful and dear friend, Brandy. . .I love you and cherish our long friendship and special connection at the soul level. Your Jay was a wonderful man. . .and his love for you and his family was a beautiful thing to see. He was a great friend to both Jerry and me and I will never forget our great conversations, his wisdom and wit and his smile! He and my Jer had a special bond and I know their spirits are now together watching over us all.
