John Vaughan

Obituary of John Richard Vaughan

VAUGHAN; John Richard

John, son of Frank and Marjorie Vaughan, passed away peacefully at his home in Buckhorn, on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the age of 65. John was a hardworking man who wore many hats throughout his life; he had the ability to build and repair everything. He had a love for his sons and a passion for nature, birds, gardening, chocolate and work. He was an avid reader of natural and technical sciences literature. He also enjoyed the many hours of scrabble he played with his sister. He had the gift of gab and was always happy marching to the beat of his own drum. John always enjoyed a gathering, had a great sense of humour, and always had a smile. There are countless stories of John bringing life to every party he attended. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

John is greatly loved and dearly missed by his wife of 44 years, Linda and his 2 sons, Jesse (Miranda) and Kyle (Sarah). Proud Grandpa of Victoria (Noel), Eric, Harmony and Lilly (predeceased) and proud Great Grandpa of Kenzie. John is survived by his sisters Marjorie, and Linda (George) and predeceased by his brothers, Frank and David (Maryanne). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends.
