My sympathies to your family. Mr. Halvorsen would come into the deli and order a chicken, scalloped potatoes and cabbage salad for Ruth's birthday. I would decorate the chicken bag with balloons and warm wishes for her. He was such a delightful and caring man - I know he will be missed.
