Obituary of Joan Margaret Rosborough

Joan passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on January 28, 2021, from complications due to COVID-19. Joan Rosborough of Lakefield in her 97^th year. Beloved wife of Stewart Rosborough (predeceased). Loving mother of Gail Crawford (Steward) of Lakefield, step-mother of Donald Rosborough (Faith) of Little Current, Arnold Rosborough (Jane) of Peterborough, Elaine Wilson (Phil) of Douro-Dummer, and Darlene Stencell (Dan) of Newcastle. Also missed by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Louisa and Charles Bates, her brothers Edward Bates (Pauline), Wilfred Bates (Anne), and her first husband Truman Davis. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. As per Joan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date when COVID restrictions allow. Thank you to the hospital staff of PRHC B2 for their care and compassion during mother’s hospital stay.
