About Bob:
My strongest and most enduring memories of my brother-in-law Bob Stenner originated during my youth. Bob was in his twenties when he married my sister, Joy and joined the Ellison family. Being 10 years my superior...he was a pretty “cool” figure to me. He was truly a man of his time. He listened to Rock Music...Elvis Presley, the Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry, etc. He had the loudest stereo equipment, the fastest cars and dated the coolest girl...my sister, Joy. And, he was a pilot too...how cool is that!
Over the years, Bob continued to follow his own unique path. He explored flying Ultra Lite aircraft, snowmobiling, hunting, etc. And, of course, he always owned the best cars ranging from Ford Mustangs to a Grand Prix. After Bob and Joy retired, they headed south for the winter months. Eventually, they purchased a R.V. and made good friends in both Texas and Florida. Bob did all these life affirming things while providing a good and stable home for Joy and their three children.
Bob was never shy in expressing his views on politics and social issues...you were never left wondering what he was thinking. Bob was a strong man who embraced life to its fullest.
We miss you Bob and give then he’ll wherever you are.
