Obituary of Dorothy Helen Nichols

Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on March 24, 2021 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband, Don, in 2004, after 58 years of marriage. Also, predeceased by three of her children, Richard, Sandra, and Larry and daughters-in-law, Polly, Holly, and Debra. Survived by her sons, Ronald and Brian (Paulette), six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

She will be missed by her sisters Irma, Alta, Ruth, and their children, and by many friends in the village of Lakefield where she lived her entire life.

To everyone who has been part of Dorothy’s life, we thank you. 

In lieu of a funeral service, the family has decided to make a donation to the Yellow Ribbon Campaign and the Lakefield Food Bank.
