June and I would often share laughs over morning coffee, and walk to meals together. There was not a day where she didn't have the brightest smile across her face - it was contagious. June brought comfort and laughter to her fellow residents and staff. In the short time I knew June, it was apparent to me she had the innate nature to care for others, as I often found her with her arms around her friends, walking with them, and ensuring they got back to their rooms safely.
June was a wonderful woman, and I will miss her deeply.
Sending my best to her family and friends.
-Kate (Empress Staff)

Our heartfelt condolences to all of June's family. We used to live on Francis Street and often walked down Albert past June's home. More often than not, we would stop to pet her little puppies and she would appear at the door. We had many delightful conversations with June over the years. She was a wonderful lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
