It was a very sad day when we got the news that my dear brother Bert had passed away. It brought back a flood of memories especially since he was so instrumental in getting Bernard, Harold, Ted, Wayne and myself into the Pipe Band which gave us so many good times together. Although we’re miles apart he was always close to our hearts.
Bert, you will be forever missed. May you Rest In Peace

Bert was a great brother and we loved him so very much.
He meant a lot to all of our family.
Bert was born the son of. Robert John Kelly and Myrtle Violet Kelly
Nee Woodbeck.
Bert was one of the original members of the CGE Pipe Band and
Encouraged his younger brothers to join.
He will never be forgotten.

To the Kelly family :
Condolences to the family although it’s be n many years since I had connection as did my dad with Bert I always remember him as such a great person.My dad thought a lot of the Kelly boys and this came about due to the CGE pipe band .Back in that time they had some great times. I spoke to Jackie a few years ago when she was helping serve lunch at the Norwood Legion.Fond memories of Bert and Jackie .
