I first met Dan...or Dan the Man as I used to call him...many years ago on a trip to Canada for a get together of artists...of which his wife Gail was one. I had the honour of staying at their house in Keswick where he let me drive his mower tractor around his garden. He introduced me to the game of Cluckers...which was played with the seriousness of an Olympic sport but with many laughs. Such a lovely man with an infectious laugh and a smile that lit up a room....I have so many happy memories of Dan that I will hold forever in my heart. My love to his family....especially Gail.
