Dear Beth, together with your extended family, I wish to offer my condolences to you on the sad occasion of the passing of your father Mr. Glen Brett. Not only is his passing a loss to your immediate family, but as as well a loss to the residents of the surrounding communities of Havelock - Hastings that he served with distinction for many years. To live in the hearts of those left behind is not to die.
It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of my friend Glen Brett. My love is extended to the entire family during this time of sorrow experienced by all who knew him. I had the honour and privilege of meeting Glen and his family many years ago and as a result assisted Glen for a couple years in his very professional business. Glen was indeed one of the most respectful people I have ever known and his regard for the dignity of his profession was unsurpassed. It was truly an important milestone in my life as I strived to emulate his persona in my future career working in law enforcement.
