Obituary of Howard Clinton Jessup

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Howard Jessup of Douro-Dummer in his 93^rd year. Howard is survived by his daughter Diane (Ron), grandchildren Matt (Erin), Lucas (Amanda), and Brittany (Tyler), great-grandchildren Ryan, Arie, Harlow, and Theo, nieces Rose, Alice (Murray), and Phyllis, and nephew Neil (Carol Ann). Predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Margaret, grandson Alexander, and his 11 siblings Mary, Jack, Grace, Allan, Doris, Beatrice, Edith, Bill, Harold, Rose, and Roy. 

Howard was an all-around outdoors guy who loved nature and participating in outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. Above all, he loved and cherished his family more than anything. 

Howard’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Sarah and the staff of Lilac Lane at Extendicare. A private graveside service will be held at Lakefield Cemetery on Friday, July 9, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
