The most painful tears
Are not the ones
That fall from your eyes
And cover your face,
They're the ones
That fall from your heart
And cover your soul.
You always remember your first love
Barrie, for me that was you
When I heard you had left this world
I prayed it wasn't true.
The sun still rises in the east
And darkness falls at night
Nothing now seems quite the same
As each day is not as bright.
It’s like a bad dream
Comes like a wave
Gives me a moment
And then drags me away.
My heart is broken
I will never be the same
As I write these words
I still feel the pain.
They say there is a reason
They say that time will heal
But neither time or reason
Will change the way I feel.
For those who got to love you
There won't be any doubt
You're so wonderful to think of
But so hard to be without.
I will always remember the man
Who was my first real love
He will remain within my heart and soul
Forever to be my friend.

So sorry about the passing of Barrie. We were friends for many years. Always had time to talk or help when asked.
Played many games of pool with him at the Norwood Legion..
Treasure your memories of him. He will be missed by many.
Condolences to the Millett family.

Pam and I want to express our sincere condolences to all of Barrie’s family.
We had the privilege of meeting Barrie when we first moved here 25 years ago and found him to be a man of character and someone who took pride in everything he did. I was always amazed with his mechanical skills and work ethic. Barrie will be missed.
