Obituary of Karen Johnson

Karen Lorna Johnson (nee Dolomount)

April 1, 1962 – July 22, 2021

Karen passed away peacefully in her 59th year at Ross Memorial Hospital on July 22, 2021 with her family at her side. Karen is survived by her husband Paul. She is predeceased by her parents Reg and Lorna Dolomount. She was the daughter in law of Doug (predeceased) and Donna May Johnson. She was the loving mother of Jeff (Caitlin), Cody (Jessie) and Tom (Alana). Karen loved visits with her grandchildren Elliot, Freddie, River, Flynn, Cooper and Seraphine. She will be missed by her sister Kitty (Rick) and brother Brian (Joanne) and her sister in laws Susan (Wayne), Debbie (Scott), Jane (Gord), Lori (Ed), Lynn (Steve) and brother in law Steve (Melissa). Karen will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Karen was born in Scarborough but spent her summers in Bobcaygeon where she met and married Paul. She was a long-time employee of Shea’s IGA and later Foodland. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.  As expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
