Obituary of Peter Millard

MILLARD, Peter 

Passed away peacefully on Friday August 20, 2021. Peter, son of the late Leonard and Minnie Millard (nee Hodson), was a Lawyer in Peterborough, for over 40 years. Peter was active in his community and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Royal Canadian Legion.  Loving partner of Lynn Woodcroft. Dear father of Jennie Millard (Matt Allen), Ryan Millard (Catherine Ryan) and grandfather of Simon Allen. Fondly remembered by Mark Woodcroft (Lily) and Jimmy Woodcroft (Taylor). Peter is survived by his sister Pauline Kissel (Maurice). Kind and gentle, Peter will be remembered for his love of animals, music, an evening paddle and a game of golf.  Cremation has taken place, arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL.  A celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at a later date at the Buckhorn Community Centre.
