I’ve struggled to put into words about how I feel. I can’t seem to understand how someone as strong and fierce as Bonnie can be gone so quick. How a star so bright can just go out. Bonnie in a lot of ways was family to me. I had spent many holidays with her, shared in major life events and even vacationed in Florida with her. She included my kids into that circle. There was always a special Halloween treat, a Christmas present or a handful of candy when coming back from a bike ride. She was a fierce protector and provider for her family and she lived for her grandchildren. Whenever a ride was needed, a forgotten lunch, a milestone to celebrate she was there. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her kids and grandchildren and what a legacy she’s left. Although I still think of her as sitting on her deck in a flannel button up with her beloved Dave I have to admit she’s gone. She lived and loved life to the fullest, eating every dessert, going on all the trips, and spent her love on those closest to her. It seems fitting that even in death she teaches us the lesson to live every moment to the fullest, to not take anyone or anything for granted. For all the lives she touched she will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Bonnie

My heart goes out to you all, as it is too soon to lose a parent, grandma and wife. Bonnie was a wonderful person who would do anything for anyone. So many memories...hard to pick which one to share.
She was so proud of all her kids, and even moreso her grandkids. She'll be missed by many, which shows how much of an impact she made on all of our lives. Our condolences to you and your families.

To Dave and extended family my deepest condolences.
Bonnie was so much more than our boss at Zellers, she was a mentor, teacher, friend and like a second mother to all of us. She was one of the hardest working, most dedicated people I have ever known.
Bonnie will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sending my condolences to the family on the passing of Bonnie.
I knew Bonnie through Kim.
Bonnie was a hard person to get to know. It was hard to break down her wall. She didn’t say a heck of a lot when you were in her company but she came out with some pretty funny one liners. She liked to shop but mostly she was shopping for her kids or grandkids.
If there was a pretzel place to be found. Bonnie was sure to buy one or two.
There’s no doubt how much Bonnie adored her family. She loved her fur babies and her summer life at the trailer with of course her family and friends.
Her family always took wonderful care of their mom. Bonnie was a lucky mom with the ever ending love and care she got from Dave her kids and Grandkids.
Thinking of you all.

On behalf of the Hashimoto Family, we would like to send our deepest condolences to Bonnie’s family. We were so saddened to hear about her passing. Over the years, Bonnie and Dave became part of the extended Hashimoto Family and were present at special family celebrations such as milestone birthdays, and they even attended the annual Japanese Kishu Picnic. We had a great visit with Bonnie and Dave last summer at the trailer, a memory that we will cherish.
Thank you, Bonnie, for being so kind, caring, and generous with our family. We will miss you.
Eddie and Kay; David, Sandy, and Amanda; Karen, Mike, Austin, and Emerson xoxo

It is hard to believe you gained your wings Bonnie. I have so many memories from over the 40 years of a friendship that has turn us into family. Camping, camp fires, boating, baseball, the many water fights between you and dad and who was going to soak who. The dances that you spent on the table swinging your beer The horse shoe games and our weekly Sunday lawn darts. All the card playing and dinners. New Years at the cottage. Birthdays, weddings and the birth of many babies the list is endless. Bonnie you were a kind hearted, generous lady. Bonnie always put Dave, her children and grandchildren first before her own needs. Bonnie was strong willed, stubborn and a straight shooter too. You could always count on Bonnie to tell you like it was. When Bonnie loved, she loved hard and with her whole heart. You will be truly missed.
Fly with the angels and say hi to Mom for me.
Love the O'Hagan/ Brown family xxoo

So many wonderful memories of our time at Zellers. Bonnie was the best "boss" of my lifetime, she was a strong, compassionate, honest, intelligent, beautiful person who soon became a great friend. I remember one day I asked her for help with a customer. Her response was..."What would you do?" To me, that was profound. She taught me to think for myself and give me the freedom and encouragement to make a decision. There are so many wonderful stories and memories I couldn't begin to write them all. I am heartbroken to hear the news of her passing and wish to express our families deepest condolences to your family and friends.
