Obituary of Gavin Lawson Keir

Passed away at his home in Bobcaygeon on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the age of 68. Gavin lived a private life over the years and his passions were movies, music and reading amongst others. He had very diversified tastes in what he watched and listened to and amassed an extensive collection of media, which we all intend to enjoy long into the future. Gavin introduced and shared all of it with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. The horror genre was his favorite, the good ones and the not so good. We will miss his sense of humor and conversation, both were greatly anticipated, welcomed and enjoyed when we were together. Peace out, Brother.

He will be forever loved and missed by his siblings, Sandra (Dale) and the late David Cowan of Bobcaygeon, Bill (Jane) Keir of Unionville, Jim (Rosemary) Keir of Lindsay, Sheila (Rob) Whyte of Bobcaygeon. Uncle to Heather (Dylan), Andrew (Katie), Katie (Dave), Max (Gemma), Dan (Chantal), Jacob, Courtney (Kaitlyn), and Sydney. Great Uncle of Nathaniel, Marrissa, Keira, Hudson, Stella, Logan, Caleb and Savannah Rose. Gavin is predeceased by his parents, William and Jean (née Kydd) Keir. He will be missed by his extended family and friends. 

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES – MONK CHAPEL, Bobcaygeon, Ontario.
