GRIFFIN: Ryan Victor
It is with heavy hearts and devastating sadness that we announce the passing of our dear son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Ryan Victor Griffin, on Tuesday November 2, 2021.
Ryan, in his 30th year, was the beloved son of Andy and Denise Griffin, step-mom Frances James, and beloved and cherished brother of Hannah (Jamie) and Parker (Haley). Ryan was also a loving step-brother to Lindsay, Lauren (David) and Lux. Also dearly missed by aunts and uncles Lorraine and Archie Barnes and Marsha and Jim Northey, as well as many cousins and extended family in Western Canada.
Ryan was a Bombardier with the 2nd Regiment Royal Canadian Horse Artillery since May, 2018, and with the Canadian Armed Forces since August, 2017. Ryan was an exceptional soldier, earning the respect of both his peers and supervisors, always setting the example in the field and in garrison for others to follow. Ryan will be sorely missed by his friends and colleagues at the 2nd Regiment Royal Canadian Horse Artillery.
