THOMSON: William (Bill, Uncle Bill)
Passed away peacefully at Quinte Health Centre, Bancroft, on Tuesday November 16, 2021. Bill was a 25-year veteran of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Force with 55 Division. He is loved and missed by his wife of 43 years, Debbie. Also missed by his sister Jean (Dave) of Apsley, brothers Donny (Wendy) of Oshawa, Ian (Lorrie) of Port Hope, sister-in-law Susan Stevens (David) of Pickering and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Annie Thomson. Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Thursday November 25, 2021 from 11:00 – 1:00 PM. A private funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM. You are invited to watch the funeral service either by attending the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 77, Lakefield, 10 Nicholls Street, Lakefield, or by watching online at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com Due to Covid-19 restrictions, you are required to register your attendance for the visitation and/or service viewing at the Legion by contacting the funeral home. Following the funeral service, the family will be joining those already at the Legion for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
