GARBUTT: Shirley Bernice

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Thursday November 18, 2021.  Loving wife of the late Dave Garbutt.  She is loved and missed by her son Jeffrey Garbutt (Faye) of Keene and daughter Kathy Hope (Richard) of Hastings.  Loving grandmother of Amber, Jade (Mark), Richard Garbutt (Maddie), Kyle Hope (Jess), Brooke Austin (Tyler) and great grandmother of Sloane & Blaire Austin, Miller & Sawyer Hope and Betty Garbutt.  Survived by her sisters-in-law Shirley, Ruth and Wanda Dunford and brother-in-law Fred Abbott.  Predeceased by her siblings Ethel Everett (Bill), Truman Dunford (Margaret), Blanche Rosborough (Max), Charlie Dunford, Russel Dunford, Rodger Dunford, Jim Dunford (Viola) and Marie Abbott.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Monday November 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.  A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 PM.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, you are asked to register to attend the visitation and funeral service.  Proof of full vaccination and masks are required to attend the visitation and service.  You may register by clicking on the link available on the memorial page for Shirley at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com.  Memorial donations may be made to Five Counties Children’s Centre, SickKids Hospital or Keene United Church as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355. The family is grateful to the doctors and nurses at Campbellford Memorial  Hospital for their compassionate care.
