My deepest sincerest sympathies to Norm’s families.
Norm( have called her that from Day 1)and I met in September 1965 where we taught together for quite a few years at Ionview P.S. in Scarborough. We became fast friends and had many, many happy memorial adventures! We spent lots of Fridays after school at The Inn on The Park— so much fun!
My family adopted her and she, with her super sewing skills, made some dresses for my Mom.
There are so very many wonderful activities that we shared and I will never forget them! Many delicious dinners created and cooked by our Chef Norm!
When Charlie (a teacher friend from John McCrae P.S.) and I retired in 1998 we drove to Bridgenorth on the first day of school in September to celebrate with a champagne brunch with Norm and Bill. We being rascals, called our Principal to brag about our whereabouts—she wasn’t very happy with us! Lol.
I am really going to miss my Dear Friend, Norm! She was my “rock”——-a one of a kind, compassionate woman!
Loved her so much!
Again, my deepest condolences to Norm’s families.
