DANFORD, Marie Ann
Passed away at home on Sunday January 16, 2022. Marie Danford (née Patterson) of Norwood, in her 83rdyear. Beloved wife of 62 years, to George Malcolm “Mac” Danford. Loving mother of Roxanne Campbell (Grant), Anthony “Tony” Danford (Tobi), and Peter Danford (Pauline).
Nana will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Malcom, Sam, Sarah, Emily and joining the family, Scott (Megan) with his children Payton, Brydon, Hendrix and Zuri.
Marie is survived by her brothers Arnold (Karen) and David (Judy McGaffin) as well as many much loved nieces and nephews. Marie is predeceased by her siblings Roy (Theresa), Elson (Marie) Marg (d. Ron Wemp), Lenore (d. Rol French), Neil (Sylvia), Joan (d. George Davis), Wayne and her parents Howard and Helen (née Morgan). Cremation has taken place, arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES-NORWOOD CHAPEL. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday May 7, 2022 at the Norwood Canadian Legion Branch #300, 27 King Street Norwood, from 2:00PM-4:00PM As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association or St. Elizabeth Health Care, by visiting www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705 639-5322.
