Obituary of Rodney Sherman Lewis

LEWIS: R. Sherman

Died on Monday January 24, 2022, at age 50.  Sherman was an avid outdoorsman and adventurer who enjoyed spending time in nature.  He and Glenna would take many trips on their snowmobiles, quads or canoeing and together they built several cabins.  He was always working on a project, and with his leadership skills he guided many others to work alongside him or on their own projects.  Sherman was a very generous man who was quick to help those in need or to give a kind word.  He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family who loved him dearly.  Loved by his wife Glenna Lewis, daughter Sarah Lewis, step-sons Ramsey Shehadeh (Lindsay) and Sami Shehadeh, grandsons Sawyer and Sonny, parents Steve & Susie and Angelique and mother-in-law Rita Rose.  Survived by his brothers Benjamin, Jeremy and Samuel Lewis, Derek and Leon Leveque and sisters Heather Lewis and Faith Leveque.  Cremation has taken place.  The family wishes to thank everyone for their many prayers and generous support during Sherman’s illness.  Friends and family may send condolences to the family by contacting THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
