PEDERSEN: Rock "Rocky" Henning
Passed away suddenly at Belleville General Hospital on Friday April 8, 2022. Rock Pedersen of Madoc, Ontario in his 63rd year. Rock was a member of White Bear First Nation in Saskatchewan. Rocky enjoyed a long career as an auto mechanic in the area.  In his youth, Rock spent time as an auxiliary OPP officer and  also was a member of the Canadian Military Reserves with the Hastings Prince Edward Regiment. During his later years, Rock was proudly an active member of the AA community. Rock will be fondly remembered by his long-time friend Yvonne. Also loved and missed by his children Krystina McMillan and Kenny Pedersen (Cheryl), both of Peterborough. Dear Papa to Braiden Barr and Avrie Barr. Remembered by his brother Clayton (Samantha), his nephews Charlie (Karen) and Cameron, as well as his great neice and nephew Henning and Dakota. Predeceased by his parents Harriett and Ken Pedersen. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood on Tuesday April 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Cremation to follow. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Norwood. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, CNIB or Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-639-5322.
