McCRACKEN: Milton Everett

Passed away peacefully at Wenleigh Long Term Care Residence, Mississauga on Thursday April 14, 2022.  Milt McCracken formerly of  Lakefield in his 95th year. Milt enjoyed farming and caring for his animals in Douro/Dummer Townships; he shared his passion for fishing and hunting with family and friends; and he drove long-haul and tour bus for many years. He is loved and missed by his wife Kathleen Margaret McCracken (nee Brodie), his daughter Lynda Donnan (Bryson) of Mississauga and his daughter-in-law Irene McCracken of Coldwater.  He is predeceased by his loving son Ken in 2013.  Dear grandpa of Craig McCracken, James Donnan (Kathy), Carla MacDonald (Pat), Jason Donnan (Meghan), Laura Holmes (Ian), John Donnan (Jaslynd) and great grandchildren Natalie, Rowan, Arwen, Julia, Winter, Jacob and Lucas.  Survived by his sisters Isabel Drumm and Doreen O’Connor, and sister-in-law Joan McCracken.  Predeceased by his brothers Donald McCracken (Noreen), Kenneth McCracken, James McCracken (Pat), Frederick McCracken and brother-in-law Bob O’Connor.  Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Wednesday April 20, 2022 from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM.  A private family funeral service will follow with interment at Lakefield Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society as expressions of sympathy and may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-652-3355.
