Obituary of Marjorie Theresa Ludgate

Eternally at peace with the Lord, Marjorie passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at The Peterborough Retirement Residence at the age of 93. She is reunited with her beloved husband of 65 years, Clarence Ludgate (2019). Her gentle spirit and beautiful soul will be forever missed by her children, John (Sheila), Joan (Greg Mosier), Gerard (Jean), Anne (Randy Florence), George, and Peter (Elizabeth). Proud grandma of 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret (née Ryan) Holley and siblings, Michael John, Bernard, Catherine, Irene, Leonard, Mervin, and Tim.

Family and friends will be received at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES – LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 4 Reid Street, Lakefield on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Reception in the church hall following interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Young’s Point.
