Obituary of Catherine Angela Taylor

Passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 55. Catherine was an incredibly strong woman who was always willing to help. She was the rock of the family and many of her nieces and nephews seen her as a second mother. Her love, generosity, and kind soul will be missed by many.

She will be forever loved and missed by her partner and best friend of 21 years, Ray Smith and his children; Cody (Carly), Mark (Melissa), and Jessie (John). Cathy leaves behind her mother, Eleanor Taylor, and her siblings; Stanford (Lisa), Andrew (Giselle), Tony, and Laura. Proud and cherished aunt of Jade, Sara, Alec, Jaime, Sabrina, Steven, Biidaaban, Nangoonskeh, Aaron, Junior, Andrew, Josh, Melissa, Christopher, Levi, Taylor, Derrick, Emily, Crystal, Stanford, Jacob, and their families. Cathy is predeceased by her father, Elwin Taylor.

Visitation will be held at THE CURVE LAKE CHURCH on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM with a reception at the Curve Lake Community Centre following the interment. Interment at Yeshmoonwin Cemetery, Curve Lake.
