CHAMBERLAIN: Frances Mary (nee Dorie)

Frances Chamberlain of Norwood in her 84^th year, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Friday, September 30^th at The Bridge Hospice – Warkworth.  Beloved wife to Gordon Chamberlain (d. 2015) for 57 years and loving mother of the late Gary, Rick (Gwen), Natalie Corkery (Clare), Kim (the late Cliff White), Kevin (Marsh), Debbie and Greg (Maureen). Lovingly remembered by her 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister to Marguerite Dorie (Gordon) and to predeceased brother Peter Dorie. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Velma and Pat as well as nieces and nephews. 

Frances lived a life filled with love with her family and community. Her joy came from farming, family gatherings, playing the organ, Card ladies, volunteering, church groups, and travelling.

A private family service will be held on the morning of Saturday October 29, 2022 followed by a Celebration of Life for extended family, friends and community from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Norwood Community Centre, Millennium Room.
