Obituary of Jack Taylor
Forever in our hearts, Jack Taylor peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 11th with family by his
side. Jack was a devoted husband of 54 years to Marlene, dedicated father of Jennifer and Grant. He
was a loving brother to his sister Barb and brother Bob. Jack will be missed by his grandchildren (Alex
and Beth) and daughter-in-law Sara. He is predeceased by his twin brother Ted and parents (Rita and
Ed).
Jack lived life to the fullest and his vibrance will continue with his memory. During his 50 years on
Stoney Lake, Jack loved boating, fishing, and swimming. He was always surrounded by family and
friends. Jack had a passion for aviation and took great pride in his position as Quality Controller with
De Havilland and McDonnell Douglas aircraft manufacturers. He concluded his career with Diamond
Power as a Quality Control Manager for nuclear reactors and paper mills.
Jack fought a difficult and short battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to
McMaster Children’s Hospital. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at La Salle Banquet Centre on
Sunday, October 30th, 2022 between 1:30 and 5:00 p.m. (50 North Shore Blvd E, Burlington).
