Obituary of Tom Brewer
BREWER, Thomas G.
Passed away at The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth, on October 16th 2022. Thomas Brewer “Tom”, of Norwood in his 79th year. Loving father of Naomi and Nathan Brewer of Peterborough.
Tom was born in Salamanca, New York. He was the son of Charles W Brewer and Gertrude V. Ploetz and brother of Richard Brewer (d. Carol) and David Brewer (Julie).
Tom will be greatly missed by his long time friend and partner Pat Zielski and her family.
Tom came to Canada in 1970 after serving in the U.S. Army. He attended the University of Toronto where he got his teaching degree. He then taught Art at Norwood District High School for 23 years. until illness struck and he had to retire.
Tom loved the outdoors and his home where he spent many years riding his tractor and working on projects.
There are no plans for a service or a Celebration of Life at this time. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES- NORWOOD CHAPEL.
Interment will be in Ellicotville N.Y. at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to
